Live! From Union City, CA!

To become a more active part of a nifty freelance project I decided to move to Union City, CA in June.  Union City is across the bay and a bit south from good ol' breezy, San Francisco.

The sunsets are pretty spectacular.

A cool collection of Zoetropes at the Niles Town Plaza.  "Antique" shops abound.

Dino Hunt is back into full swing! I moved my desk and computer setup over to Amrinder's (also now in Union City) so after work we can actually get things done.

Our mascot, Tessa, keeps us company.

Dream Sketch 01

A friend suggested I draw a bit more and actually post things.  Soooo, for inspiration I drew a moment from one of my dreams many years ago.

The gist of it was that, off the coast of a hidden Caribbean island, there lived an ancient, HUGE barracuda with a saddle and if you could ride it, the ocean was your kingdom.

Moved again and keeping busy

I moved again, now to a more permanent location in LA.
Have not unpacked yet, but I have internet working as of yesterday.  :)
Things have been busy.

Came back from a late night of work and had an inexplicable desire to draw griffins.

Soon to kick-off Dino Hunt animation

Above is what's called a 'rig pose-test'.   This is when someone takes the rig and does a pose to test out i's functionality.

Our Dino Hunt Riggers, Amrinder & Daria, have been doing an amazing job and we're about to start animation testing!  Shots are being laid-out and prepped to be distributed to the animation team.
Exciting times.  ^___^

Still alive.

These characters are for a 30-second project the interns are doing at Zoic currently.  I didn't design them, Alex Isaksson did. :) I just colored them prior to the formal presentation pitch we did on Wednesday night.  I will be modeling them though.  More soon to come! Very excited.
